Perpetual Eucharistic Adoration began in the Cedar Valley in 2008. Since that time it has been housed at Columbus Catholic High School chapel. People from all over the Cedar Valley come to pray 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. In order to keep perpetual adoration going, we must have at least one person present in the chapel at all times. As you can imagine, overnight hours can be difficult to fill. Adoration groups are a great way to fill these hours. Consider rounding up family members and friends and starting a group. This is a great way to still experience the fruits of adoration if your schedule is too busy for a weekly commitment or if you would like additional time.
Here's how it works:
* 4-6 people per group
* One person covers one hour per week so that each group member is scheduled only ONCE a month at most
* Group members can switch hours with each other when schedule conflicts arise
That's it.
It's much easier to commit to going at 2 am, for example, ONCE every four to six weeks verse every single week. If you are ready for a small challenge, choose an overnight hour. The sacrifice is well worth it!
If you have never experienced adoration before, no problem. We will walk you through it and can even attend with you the first couple of times.
We guarantee that God will work and move in your life in a powerful way.
