The Alpha Course was designed to introduce to newcomers (and to review for practicing believers) the basic beliefs and practices of the Christian faith.  Nothing in the Alpha course contradicts Catholic belief and practice, but the course itself does not explain in particular how Catholic Christians understand or express these basic components of Christian faith.

   We are happy to schedule an online discussion following the Alpha series for Catholics who would like to discuss a Catholic perspective on the issues addressed in Alpha. These discussions will use the U.S. Catholic Catechism for Adults as a primary resource and will be facilitated by a member of the Faith Formation Team.
