While listening to the Holy Spirit is at the center of prayer, most of us struggle to recognize the difference between the Holy Spirit and the thousands of other ideas that float through our minds each day. In His Spirit will help readers develop a new awareness of the spiritual reality surrounding us, and a better understanding of two fundamental models of spirituality viewed through the perspective of Sacred Scripture.
"The Holy Spirit is the organizing motif of each chapter. In giving presentations on the spiritual life
I have discovered that most of our misunderstandings flowed from a lack of appreciation of the role
of the Spirit; we simply do not take seriously the role of the Spirit whom Jesus sent to take his place
among us and be our sanctifier. This book blends a theoretical understanding of the Spirit flowing
from Scripture and contemporary theology with a practical application of this theory to daily life."
